Using a particular color, size or theme I use oversized beads, charms or decorative objects as a centerpiece for the necklace, often complementing it with a bracelet and earrings. I use ceramic, glass, crystal, silver, pewter, gold and metal beads with silver plated wire and silver & gold plate findings.
